The real-time feed is an unfiltered stream of pours directly from your Nectar smart caps.
To help you understand your feed, some pours may contain alerts or flags, such as—
- Adjusted measurement
- Low confidence measurement
- Switched to a new bottle
- Remainder before bottle switch
Nectar caps will periodically re-measure, even when no pour has occurred, to verify bottle levels and increase accuracy. This may result in slight adjustments to a previously reported pour amount. At the end of the day, the Nectar system performs additional calculations to ensure aggregated pours are as accurate as possible. Learn more about cap accuracy here.
Low confidence measurement
The cap was unable to take an accurate measurement. This may be caused by a small droplet blocking the sensor or the cap not being seated on the bottle straight. Usually, this will be corrected after pouring again or you can re-pair the cap to force a new measurement right away.
Switched to a new bottle
Triggered if the cap measures a full or nearly-full bottle level after previously measuring a low bottle level.
Remainder before bottle switch
The remaining amount from the previous bottle after a new bottle switch occurs. This amount will be merged with the next pour.
