Overview
Along the top of your report, you will find various numbers and charts designed to help you visually understand your data and identify trends.
- Gross sales: total value of all pre-tax sales, as reported by your POS system
- Cost of sales: total cost of pours. Products in your inventory with missing or incorrect prices will directly impact this number
- Qty sold: total number of drinks sold
The heatmap on the right represents your total number of sales per hour per day across your set date range.
Table
The table provides a more fine grained view of your data, and offers many customization options.
Group by
- Subcategory: aggregates your sales per subcategory (gin, vodka, whiskey, etc.)
- Recipe: aggregates your sales per recipe (POS item)
- Product: aggregates your sales per product
Columns
Clicking on a column header will allow you to change the sorting of the table.
- Recipe type: assigned during recipe verification. Available types are Standard, Modifier, Pre-batch, and Custom
- POS category: imported from your POS system
- Recipe/product/subcategory: name of the item that was sold
- Qty sold: total quantity of drinks sold
- Gross sales: total value of pre-tax sales, as reported by your POS system
- Theo pour cost: theoretical or ideal pour cost. Products with missing / incorrect prices, or unverified recipes will impact this number
- Act pour cost: actual or real pour cost. Products with missing / incorrect prices, or unverified recipes will impact this number
- Poured: total quantity poured, as measured by Nectar smart caps
- Cost / oz: cost for every ounce poured. Products with missing or incorrect prices will impact this number
- Total cost: total cost of pouring
